Electricians in the state of New Jersey are required to complete continuing education every three years in order to renew their electrical license. Hanover Testing Labs provides onsite classes to help keep your electrical license up to date in the state of New Jersey.
Our courses are taught by licensed electricians and NEC experts with decades of experience.
Hanover Testing Labs courses and instructors are approved by the New Jersey Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors.
Hanover Testing Labs will send you a certificate that confirms you completed CEU hours after each course complete. Licensees must retain the NJ Certificate of Completion for 6 years in case of audit.
New Jersey Electrical License Renewal: Electrical contractors must complete 34 hours of continuing education, which includes 9 hours of Code and 1 hour of New Jersey Laws, Rules, and Regulations by March 31st every 3 years (March 2024).
IMPORTANT: New Jersey requires the 10-Hour Code Update and NJ rules to be completed in a live class. We are working on obtaining approval for the 24 remaining hours for this state but we will not offer the 10-hour update.
